Tide Players Earn SEC Player of the Week

8935464-standard Following Saturday’s game against Florida, two Crimson Tide players have earned SEC honors following their outstanding performance in the game.

Linebacker Courtney Upshaw earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week. He finished Saturday’s game with 7 tackles, 4 of which were behind the line of scrimmage. He added to that a recovered fumble and 2 pass deflections.

Offensive Guard Chance Warmack earned the SEC Offensive Line Player of the Week. Chance did not allow any sacks of pressures in the game, and had key blocks in big plays including Mark Ingram’s two touchdown rushes.
