Auburn Takes Top Spot in BCS Standings

bcs_logo

On Sunday, the BCS released its latest BCS Standings. For a second week now, there is a new team at the top of the list and it still isn’t Boise State. With the third #1 ranked team in the land loosing in as many weeks, Auburn takes the spot at the front with an impressive win over LSU. Auburn jumped from their 4th spot last week. Oregon and Boise still remain at 2 and 3, while Alabama moves up one spot taking advantage of the LSU loss.

With half of the season in the books, every week makes it clear that this season’s Iron Bowl will have some major impacts on how this thing sorts out. Especially if both Alabama and Auburn run the table before the matchup in Tuscaloosa.

Here is the second BCS Rankings of the year.
