Williams is from Panama City Florida and plays at Arnold High School. Rivals.com has him projected as a five star recruit as a junior. Weighing in at 200 pounds, at 6-foot-3, Williams is expected to play safety once he reaches college.
When talking to BamaOnline.com, Williams said, "I wanted to get on board and become the first commitment of 2012 for Alabama and get the ball rolling,It was important to me to be a leader for my class and I figured it would be helping my future team out if I got it out of the way and helped them put together the No. 1 class. I have known where I have wanted to go for a long time, so there was no need to wait."
