Look Back at 2009

So here are the final three top moments for the Tide in 2009.

#3: Roy Upchurch's Touchdown Catch against Auburn
For Most Alabama fans, the Iron Bowl this season was 59 minutes of hell and 1 minute of thank the lord. After Auburn threw every trick play in the book against the Tide, the tide finally drove down the field lead by Greg McElroy finishing it up with Upchurch's 5 yard catch. Not a bad time for the Tide Senior to make his first career TD reception.

#2: Alabama wins SEC Championship

With the Tide coming in the game as the underdog against a largely favored Florida team. The Tide dominated the Gators for their 23 SEC Championship. With the win, Alabama continued its tradition of being the only team to win a SEC Championship in every decade.

#1: Mark Ingram win the Heisman

This year marked the first time Alabama brought home the Heisman Trophy. And it couldn't have gone to a better person than Mark Ingram, who through his play, not only solidified his position as the best running back in the State, but made his name as one of the best if not the best in college football.
