Rolltide.com- Junior forward JaMychal Green's tip-in with 0.3 seconds proved to be the difference as the Alabama men's basketball overcame a 12-point second half deficit to defeat cross-state rival Auburn 51-49 in front of a sold-out Coleman Coliseum crowd of 15,383 Wednesday night.
Green finished with a game-high 17 points as the Crimson Tide improved to 19-8 on the season, 11-2 in the Southeastern Conference and a perfect 15-0 at home.

Rolltide.com- The University of Alabama men's basketball team remained undefeated at home this season after notching a 74-64 victory over Mississippi in front of a sold-out Coleman Coliseum crowd of 15,383.
Sophomore forward Tony Mitchell came off the bench with a team-high 20 points for Alabama (16-8, 8-2 SEC). Junior forward JaMychal Green logged 15 points and a career-high six blocks and freshman guard Trevor Releford contributed 14 points including 3-of-4 from the three-point line.

Rolltide.com- The Alabama men's basketball team dropped its first decision in its past five games, falling to the Vanderbilt Commodores 81-77 on Thursday night at Memorial Coliseum. The Crimson Tide now stands at 15-8 (7-2 SEC) following the loss while Vanderbilt improves to 17-6 (5-4 SEC).
Junior forward JaMychal Green notched his 19th career double-double with a game-high 23 points, including 19 in the second half, to go along with a game-high 10 rebounds. Sophomore forward Tony Mitchell added 22 points while freshman guard Trevor Releford added 11 points.
"We've hung our hat all year on our ability to defend," UA head coach Anthony Grant said. "Today we had a tough time defensively. Vanderbilt did a great job. They shot the ball well from the field, they shot the ball well from the three-point line, they did what they had shown all year with their ability to get to the free-throw line. We couldn't overcome that at the end."

Rolltide.com- A total of 45 University of Alabama student-athletes, representing football, soccer and volleyball, were named to the 2010 Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll the league office announced Wednesday.
The Crimson Tide football team had 27 players named to the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, third in the SEC, behind South Carolina, 31, and Vanderbilt, 30.
